Pandas- The Basics

Pandas are really really cute, everyone knows that. But there is more than just the cute furry faces! Here are some basic panda facts:

• Pandas are endangered.
• There is a red panda as well as the giant panda.
• Pandas mainly live in China.
• The panda's diet is over 99% percent bamboo, they are mostly herbivores.
• Adult giant pandas are about 4-6 feet long.
• The average giant panda eats about 20-30 pounds of bamboo shots a day.
