Description/ Appearance

The Giant Panda has a body typical of bears. It has black fur on its ears, eye patches, muzzle, legs and shoulders.

Scientists are not completely sure why these unusual bears are the bold colors black and white. 

The panda's thick coat of fur helps keep it warm in the winter and during cold whether.
